On September 1, 2002, Mountain Men season 11 premiered and Josh returned as a regular cast member.

Josh loves raising Bison. He has shown his admiration for them in the show itself. However, did you know that raising a bison is pretty much more complex than raising cattle? They aren’t usually raised as domestic animals. They require excellent herd companionship, along with grass, water, fences, and a brilliant health plan.
The fences can be a problem for other wildlife. Old barbwires may affect the migration of deer, elks, antelope, and other animals. Josh has done a fantastic job at ensuring that this doesn’t become a problem for the migrating animals. He has reported that he uses wildlife-friendly fences instead of harmful barbwires for his Bisons.
