Don Brewer was born Donald Brewer in June 1971 in Canadian, Oklahoma United States. The birthdate makes him 51 years old. Don grew up in his hometown where he also began his schooling. He attended Canadian High School and following graduation he enrolled at the Eastern Oklahoma State College. Don’s father and grandfather were notable gator hunters who taught Don the skills required for gator hunting. Over the years, Don polished his skills as a gator hunter and started solo hunting.

Don Brewer is a man of the swamp. In the years he has worked as a gator hunter, Don has been bitten by just about everything in the swamp. From beavers to snakes to gators, Don seems to be loved by just about everything in the swamp. But Don doesn’t seem to mind all this. He lives for the rush of adrenaline and there is no greater thrill than hunting gators for a living.

Swamp people:

Don Brewer is a later addition to the Swamp People. He made his debut in during season 11 of the show which premiered on January 23, 2020, on the History channel. Swamp People follows the lives of several families who make their living catching alligators in the swamps of Louisiana and over the years the show has introduced faces like Troy Landry, Terral Evans, Willie Edwards, Daniel Edgar, Ashley Jones, Big Tee, Dusty Crum, Liz Cavalier, Ronnie Adams.

In his short appearance, Don has already shown what he is capable of. The man doesn’t shy away from getting his hands dirty. According to IMDb, he made 20 appeareances from 2020-2022. Swamp People season fourteen premiered on January 5, 2023, and Don has returned as the cast member. Prior to joining Swamp People as a regular cast member Don appeared in the spinoff “Swamp Mysteries With Trough Landry” although he was not credited for the part.

While Don Brewer may not be in to prove he has a reputation that precedes Swamp People. He was part of another History network show Mud Cats. The series follows a practice that has been going on for generations – hand-fishing for giant flathead catfish. The hunt takes place without a rod, reel, or bait. While Don may star as a gator hunter, his real skills lie in hand fishing. One of the most competitive hand-fishers in all of Oklahoma, Don won’t hesitate to put it all on the line. The show ended after two seasons from 2012 to 2013.
