Amy Bruni was born on the 10th of July 1976, in Sacramento, California. Born and raised in Sacramento, Amy was raised in a supposedly haunted house. Her father worked as an amateur paranormal investigator and introduced Amy to paranormal investigation. From her early years, Amy started studying on the paranormal and religiously followed any Hans Holzer book she could find. Amy supposedly had her first encounter when she was six years old. She had an encounter with the landlord’s son, who had passed away during the second world war.
After graduating from high school, Amy started working in the health care industry. She later abandoned health care in favor of paranormal investigations and has kept at it ever since. In her early years, Amy investigated haunted locations on her own. After years of self-exploration, Amy joined a paranormal team in Sacramento, CA. During her time there, Amy was called up by Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson, who wanted her to join The Atlantic Paranormal Society. Since then, Amy has worked with TAPS and played a major part in the formation of the first-ever TAPS satellite team, TAPS West. In 2007, Amy was transferred to East Coast where she served as a paranormal investigator and researcher.
Amy started making regular appearances in Ghost Hunters from 2008. She joined Jason and Grant in the series and worked on over 120 episodes. Amy was part of the investigation team and made successive appearances from 2008 to 2014. Alongside Ghost Hunters, Amy also worked in the production of Beyond Reality Radio.
