Kay Adams is an American television personality and sportscaster who is best known for hosting Good Morning Football on NFL network from 2016 to 2022. She also hosted People (the TV show!), a daily entertainment newsmagazine based on the magazine of the same name. She left Good Morning Football in May 2022 and joined FanDuel TV in September 2022 to host a new weekday morning show called Up and Adams. She has also worked as a host and commentator for other sports networks, including NBC’s Fantasy Football Live and DirectTV’s Fantasy Zone, and has covered a variety of sports events, including the NFL Draft, the Super Bowl, and college football. Kay Adams was born on the 6th of April 1986 in Chicago, Illinois, United States. She was born to Czesio Adams and an unnamed mother in Chicago, Illinois. Her parents were immigrants from Poland and she can speak Polish fluently. She has an elder sister named Sylvia Wrobel and an elder brother named Adamski. Kay began her schooling in her hometown and later attended the M. Young Magnet High School. After matriculation, Kay enrolled at the University of Missouri.

To cover her dues at the University, Kay worked at Willie’s Pub and Pool Bar. Even though Kay took started with a major in Journalism, she switched over to communications. She became interested in the world of sports while her time at Willie’s Pub.

Kay began her career as a journalist as an in-game host for the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team in 2010. Her first outing in the world of American Football came in the form of SiriusXM Fantasy Drive and SiriusXM’s Livin’ the Fantasy. The shows focused on building a fantasy team around American Football. In the same year, Kay was also working on the show DirectTV Fantasy Zone.

After making an appearance on the Late Show with Craig Ferguson on 17th October 2012, Kay started making NFL videos on YouTube. This brought her an opportunity to host special events for the Chicago Bears Team. After spending a few years on YouTube, Kay was back as a professional journalist.

Airing out of Manhattan, the NFL cast gets in front of the camera every morning to make sure you stay updated on the comings and goings in American Football. The 3-hour show features headline-making interviews and live discussions on events around the world of sports. The series joined the fray of American Football News on August 1, 2016. As the face of the show, Kay hosted for six years before leaving the show. She made her last appearance on Friday, May 13, 2022.

On Leaving & Missing out on Thursday Night Football:

Kay was in talks with showrunners for a long time and was a top candidate for the host of Amazon’s “Thursday Night Football.” However, the job was ultimately handed to Charissa Thompson. Kay Adams has opened up about missing out on the job of hosting Amazon’s Thursday Night Football for the upcoming NFL season. She said that she was in talks with Amazon for a long time and that they made her an offer, but they could not come to terms and a deal was never made. She said that it was a job she really wanted and that she was disappointed.

She also revealed that she left Good Morning Football in May 2022 because she felt like her work there was done and that she wanted to try something different. She said that she loved the show and everyone there, but she was ready for a new challenge. She did not have a job lined up when she left, but she later joined FanDuel TV as the host of Up and Adams, a new weekday morning show.
