For Dave fishing has been a passion since he caught his first as a child. He would fish in the pond with his father, and by the age of seven, he was fishing on the ocean shores and got his first Bluefin Tuna.

Though born in Tinton, New Jersey Dave grew up in Middleton where he shaped his fishing career. Initially, he was regularly boarding on Charted fishing as a customer. He became the first mate of Sea Fox from Atlantic Highland in 1979. By the time he was twenty, Carraro had obtained a captain license; he holds a USCG 100-ton Masters License.

Dave has an invaluable over 42 years of experience fishing the East Coast, Bahamas, and Mexico. His specialty is Tuna and Cod fishing which is what he spends most of his time doing. Until now his best fishing year has been 2016 when he caught 88 giant tuna, before that, he landed 52 giant tuna in 2011. In addition to fishing, Carraro provides fishing charters and Tour services to his customers.
