Early Life:

Tony Angelo was born on the 24th of December 1978 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. As a young kid growing in Pennsylvania, Tony was racing like everybody around him. He is a man of few words and doesn’t like to talk about his early life. There is little to no information on his early life, parents, and academics. From a young age, Tony was inspired by Japanese videos and magazines which further ignited his passion for racing.

Professional Career:

Tony has been modifying cars as long as he was legally allowed to drive. After two to three years on his own, Tony and his friend, future pro-driver Chris Forsberg, decided to start East Coast grassroots drifting events. The events were crowded with racers and Tony was becoming a household name in the market.
Tony’s first claim to fame came in 2003 when he was documented by the Wired Magazine. He began racing professionally in 2004 in Formula Drift’s first year. In his rookie year, Tonie was a force to be reckoned with. Quick on the turn and quick on the drift, Tony earned his D1 license in 2005 by placing first in a national driver’s search.

After four years as a racer, Tony decided to take a break from the world of racing. So instead of being on the tracks, Tony decided to take up the mantle of the judge. In 2009 and became a judge for Formula Drift. In his years as a judge, Tony modified the scoring system and judgment criteria of Formula Drift for the better.
But Tony was not done with drifting. He returned to the driver’s seat in 2012 and has been at it since. He first drove the 2009 Scion TC before switching to the 750 hp racecar.

While little is known about his personal life, Tony is presumed to be a married man. He also does a ton of stun work and has worked with Audi, Nissan, and Chevrolet. Tony is also the founder and president of the Drift Alliance, and also a part of the Blood Masters team.
