Dr. Diarra Blue is married to Jessica Dunn who indeed was his girlfriend. The profoundly in love couple dated each other and back then Dr. Blue had given her nickname “Rabbit.” Even when dating the couple knew what they wanted with their relationship and were ready to take a bigger step of parenthood. Jessica was pregnant with their first child, before marriage.
Dr. Blue and Jessica got married on May 26, 2012. Soon, they were blessed with their eldest son Dean William Blue on September 25, 2012. Another bliss, their second son was born in 2015.
Dr. Blue is mostly engaged with animals. As a veterinarian, it is a challenge of managing time schedule for work and family. But this good doctor has not let his professional side affect his family life. After work, Dr. Blue goes home to his wife and children. The blissfully married couple create a suitable environment for their kids who are learning taking care of pets and the responsibility of owning one. The family lives with two dogs and a lizard.

Growing up in the city of Detroit, Michigan Dr. Blue did not have the chance to be around the farm animals. But adolescence years around pets helped him realize his love for animals. He would help his parents with puppies and often attend neighbor house caring for litters of kittens.
His first animal love is fish. At his eleventh birthday, Dr. Blue got seven Piranha fish from his older brother. Back then he did not have the skill of a Veterinarian, but his heroic effort saved a Piranha. One among seven needed urgent treatment after going through the power outage. As Dr. Blue said in the interview;
“I actually took an air hose and shoved it down his mouth and started breathing for him and resuscitated the fish. It’s a true story.”
Dr. Blue began his schooling in Michigan. After high school, he attended Tuskegee University in 2001 where he received an undergraduate degree in Animal Science and a degree in Doctor of Veterinary medicine. He graduated as the class of 2009.
During his time at Tuskegee University, he got acquainted and later became friends with Aubrey Ross and Micheal Levigne who were two years seniors in the college. After graduation, Dr. Blue followed them to Las, Vegas where he took the job for few years. These three animal doctors wanted to open their own practice and started working in the case in 2013.
In 2015 they had established Cy-Fair Animal Hospital in Cypress, TX, the hometown of Dr. Aubrey Ross. The three co-owns and operate the place. The combined experience of over 27 years helps them to successfully operate on extensive cases on the household as well as exotic animal types. They also take on house calls for treating large animals. Dr. Blue also manages the Conroe Animal Adoption Center when he is not practicing at Cy-Fair Animal Hospital.

I love this show & all of their personalities. If I lived in the area I would trust my fur babies to them. I recently had to put my 15 1/2 yr. old cats to sleep 6 mo. apart. (in Pahrump, NV). I love how they really care.
