Born and raised in Ohio, Zuri spent much of her early life with her two older brothers. After graduating from Maumee Valley Country Day School in Ohio in 2006, Zuri attended the Ohio State University. She graduated in 2010 with a BA degree in Strategic Communication and a minor degree in theater.
