Early Life
Zachary Roloff was born on the 10th of May 1990 in Oregon. Born to Matthew and Amy Roloff, Jack and his brother Jeremy are fraternal twins. As the only dwarf kid in the family, Zach often had a hard time adjusting with his siblings. But regardless of their physical stature, Zach, Jeremy, Molly, and Jacob are incredibly close and are always looking out for each other.
Medical Complications
Zachary has faced many medical complications throughout his life due to his condition. He suffers from chronic migraines, which he believes are related to the pressure in his brain caused by excess cerebrospinal fluid. He has a device called a shunt implanted in his brain to help drain the fluid and prevent hydrocephalus, which is a dangerous buildup of fluid that can damage the brain.
An avid sports fan, Zach loved playing soccer. But Zach soon realized that the difference in height was a disadvantage for him. As shown in the second season of the series, Zach never quite soccer and even managed to make his high-school team. But his soccer career came to a halt when Zach had to undergo a surgery to correct the bowing of his legs. He later coached Jacob’s soccer team and the pair graduated in 2009.
In February 2023, Zachary had a medical scare when he had to undergo an emergency shunt revision surgery. He had been feeling sick for 72 hours and was rushed to the hospital. His wife Tori Roloff shared the news on Instagram and asked for prayers and support. She also praised her husband for being a âfreaking bad assâ and handling the surgery like a rockstar.
