A Gruesome Discovery

Troy sets his sights on Bayou Bonnefoi—his go-to honey hole. But the day takes a disturbing turn when they pull up a gator carcass missing an entire leg, clearly bitten off by another gator.

“Oh my God, that’s a cannibal,” Troy exclaims.

Pickle dubs the rogue predator Jigsaw due to the chewed-up tail resembling torn puzzle pieces. The team immediately begins setting lines closer together, determined to take out the menace before it destroys more of their catch.

The Chase for Jigsaw

Though they land a few solid gators throughout the day, including a hefty one barely hooked, Troy knows it’s not the cannibal.

“This is not your normal, big typical alligator,” he says. “This thing is stronger than most alligator.”

Later, after hauling up yet another mangled gator with massive bite marks, Troy makes it personal. They even use a back leg from one of the chewed-up gators as bait to lure Jigsaw in.

Target Locked

The gamble pays off. One of the lines pulls hard, wrapping around a cypress tree. Troy and Pickle haul up a massive, aggressive gator.

“That’s him!” Troy yells.

A well-placed shot ends the hunt. Jigsaw is down, and the honey hole is safe again—for now.

A Cajun Crab Boil to End the Day

Back in Pierre Part, Pickle hosts a Cajun crab boil for family and friends. After days of stress and storm recovery, the gathering restores spirits.

“Doesn’t matter what happens in life. As long as you’ve got your friends and your family… you’re gonna be all right,” Pickle reflects.
