Ryan Evans was born on January 3, 1974, and raised in Frankfurt, Germany. Ryan attended the Frankfurt American High School in Frankfurt and graduated in 1992. Ryan was into automobiles from a young age and would often tinker around in his father’s garage. He was particularly big on two-wheelers and digested everything that came his way.

Professional Career:

Ryan began working as an artist while simultaneously attending college. He first worked on paint jobs and airbrushes but later moved to Vegas as a custom painter. Ryan’s quality on the job was rarely mirrored by other artists and he started to gather the attention of art enthusiasts. In 2000, Ryan was discovered by the Count’s Kustoms’ bike shop manager, Shannon Aikau. Shannon instantly became a fan of Ryan’s work and introduced him to Dany Koker.

Life in reality TV:

Ryan first began his work in Count Kustoms as a painter and graphic artist. Impressed with his work, Dany promoted Ryan to the post of head painter and customization artist. Ryan rose to the new challenge and performed beyond what was expected of him. Even though Ryan previously worked with Shanon in the bike shop, he was asked to join the main crew of Count Kustoms by Dany. Since his early days, Ryan has established himself as one of the best and most dependable crew members of Count Kustoms. He is now Dany’s right-hand man and is Dany’s go-to person for conceptualizing and completing new projects that come into the shop.


Counting Cars:

Ryan is also an integral part of the reality series, Counting Cars.  “Counting Cars” is a reality television show that premiered on the History channel on August 13, 2012. The show follows the day-to-day operations of Count’s Kustoms, a custom car and motorcycle shop located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The shop, owned by Danny “The Count” Koker, specializes in buying, restoring, and customizing classic cars and motorcycles. The show focuses on the restoration and customization projects undertaken by the shop, as well as the personal and professional lives of the shop’s employees. Ryan made his first show appearance during season 1 episode 1 “McQueen for a Day” and was seen as the car fabricator. Since he has appeared in over 100 episodes until December 2021.
