Daniel Nicholas Koker II was born on the 5th of January 1964 in Cleveland, Ohio. Born to Daniel Nicholas Koker I and Mary Koker, Danny has a younger sister, Kim. Danny’s interest in cars and music came from his father who was a brilliant musician and loved cars. Daniel Sr. toured around the USA with popular bands of the time like Foggy River Boys and Cathedral Quarter. Things changed when Dany Sr. passed away on February 17th, 2008.
After moving to Las Vegas, Danny started working as a television host for Channel 33, a local station owned by his family. He created the character of Count Cool Rider and hosted a horror movie series called Saturday Fright at the Movies. He also taught himself how to restore and modify vehicles as a hobby.
Danny opened his own shop, Count’s Kustoms, in the 1990s and began offering his services to individual customers who wanted to have their cars or bikes customized or restored. He gained a reputation for his high-quality work and his collection of rare and classic vehicles.
Not just contend to cars, Danny also decided to explore his passion for singing. He formed his own band, Count’s 77, with his friends . The band plays hard rock music influenced by the 1970s. The band consists of Danny Koker (lead vocals), John Zito (guitar), Stoney Curtis (guitar), Barry Barnes (bass), Paul Disibio (drums), and Tommy Paris (keyboard). They have released two albums so far: Count’s 77 in 2014 and Soul Transfusion in 2017. They have also performed at various venues and events, such as the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and the Rocklahoma Festival.
Danny made his first appearance on the History Channel show Pawn Stars in 2010 as an expert on vintage cars and motorcycles. He became a recurring guest on the show and impressed the viewers with his knowledge and charisma. He launched his own spin-off show, Counting Cars, in 2012. The show follows him and his team at Count’s Kustoms as they work on various projects involving cars and bikes. The show also features Danny’s personal life, his band Count 77, and his other businesses, such as Count’s Vamp’d Rock Bar & Grill and Count’s Tattoo Company.
He has amassed a fortune of over $15 million from his various ventures. His main sources of income are his auto shop Count’s Kustoms, his reality show Counting Cars, and his band Count 77. He also earns money from appearing on other shows such as Pawn Stars and American Restoration. He is known for his passion for classic and rare cars and motorcycles, which he collects, restores, and sells.
A happy married life
Danny has been off the dating market for quite a while. He is currently married to Korie Koker, who like Dany is a musician and television personality. The pair met in Las Vegas some 15 years ago and have been together ever since. Even though it is unclear for how long the pair dated before tying the knot, we do know that they were married in 2015. The pair share a loving relationship and as of the current moment do not have any kids.
The second love of his life
Danny is a huge fan of automobiles. Much of this love came from his father’s interest in vehicles. Dany got his first motorbike while he was 8 and quickly learned to not only repair them but also customize them. He has a garage in Nevada and works with exotic models like the 1977 Volkswagen Beetle, a 1973 Dodge Challenger and a 1968 Ford Mustang GT Fastback.
It is claimed that Danny owns around 58 cars and over seventy motorcycles. His first car was a 1966 427 AC Cobra. His collection contains vintage models like 1999 Shelby Series 1, 1932 Ford Roadster, and a 1966 Mustang GT350. In addition to owning several Cadillacs, Danny once had the 1973 Plymouth Satellite Sebring R which he later parted ways with.
