Robin Ziel was born on the 11th of April, 1968, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Born and raised in California, Robin graduated from the Torrejon American High School. Robin’s parents divorced at a very young age and Robin started living with her mother when she was 10 years of age. While she had siblings, not much is known about them and details on Robin’s father and stepmother are hazy as well. During her high school years, Robin was on the school cheerleading team and was quite good at sports.

Around the time Ted and Robin tied the knot, the former was already on his way to becoming one of the best car dealerships in town. Alongside Robin, Ted took South Beach Classics and turned it into one of Florida’s largest classic car dealership. The fame brought the duo a reality TV show with the Discovery Network. Divorce:

In 2016, Robin and Ted called things off after Ted physically assaulted Robin. The incident happened in 2015 when Ted taunted Robin by receiving a call from another woman and mentioned that he had upgraded. In response, Robin took the keys of the car and a bag of clothes wishing her husband goodnight as she jokingly walked out of the room. This sent Ted into a fit of rage and he began punching Robin. By the time the police arrived on October 10, 2015, Ted was long gone and Robin was left with a blackened eye and bruised lip. The police statement read,

“Mr. Vernon became violent and struck Mrs. Vernon with a closed fist about the face, chest, and back area as well as attempted to poke her eyes out with his thumbs.”

The pair went through a nasty legal battle for custody of their son, Ted Vernon Jr. Their legal troubles ended up spelling the end of the series which was in its fourth season.
