Parker Schnabel is a gold miner who is best known for periodically featuring on Gold Rush, a successful reality TV show on Discovery Chanel. Through the show, we get to see this young men’s gold adventure as he takes on the challenge to mine a certain amount of gold seasons after season. In the latter part of 2016, he revealed his Australian girlfriend Ashley Youle whom he met during a mining trip in Australia. When everyone thought the couple has a great chemistry, and indeed the relationship is destined together for a long, long time. The couple called a quit to their relationship. In the Gold Rush season 8 episode “Win Big or Die Trying” Parker Schnabel revealed shock to fans as he announced the split with his girlfriend, Ashley Youle. According to Parker, he did not set his relationship with Ashley a priority, nor he had made the girl a priority. He stated that she could do better than him. Despite the split, Parker had the only good thing to say about her.

Did the Parkers demanding work and massive time in Gold mining failed his personal life? In the past, Parker has contended that it was tough maintaining a relationship with his girlfriend as he spends most of his time with middle-aged men pretty much all year. However, neither Parker nor Ashley has opened what played a part in their split.

Ashley, who is a veterinary nurse, is seen in Gold Rush for quite some time helping around Parker. But after the relationship with her boyfriend has come to an end; it is apparent we will see less or none of this upbeat personality in the show.

A look back at their relationship

Parker met his ex Ashley Youle in Australia where the couple got along pretty well. He invited her to spend time with him in North America. In the beginning, the couple had no idea where the relationship was heading eventually the two had a thing for each other and fell in love. In an interview with Channelguidemag, Parker described his relationship with Ashley; she did not mind hanging out or even put forth hand in gold mining.

“She’s super easygoing, which is what you need out at a place like that. Ashley just rolls with the punches and helps out where she’s needed. If we need her to drive trucks she’ll drive trucks. She ended up cleaning gold a lot of the summer or helping do fuel things or whatever we needed her around the place. She stayed busy and tried to stay out of my way when I’m in rage mode. Yeah, it was fun. It was a good summer. I’m really glad Ashley was there for it.”

The relationship took Parker to Australia where he spent  Christmas and New Year with Ashley. Even their marriage rumors made headlines in tabloids. Though seemed unlikely here we are witnessing the break up of the couple in 2018.
