In 2018, Naomie co-founded L’Abeye with her friend Ginny Cox. L’Abeye is a lifestyle brand that offers clothing, accessories, and home goods that are inspired by Naomie’s French heritage and Southern charm. The brand aims to empower women to feel confident and beautiful in their own skin. However, the partnership comes to a bitter end in May 2022 when Cox is terminated from L’Abeye for employee theft and other misconduct, according to Olindo. Cox came with a lawsuit on September 19, 2022: Cox files a lawsuit against Olindo for breach of contract, fraud, defamation and more, claiming that Olindo used deceptive tactics to maintain control of the business, misappropriate funds and prevent her from landing a new job. Olindo responds to the lawsuit with her own counterclaims, accusing Cox of theft, extortion and defamation. Olindo alleges that Cox hacked into her computer to access her American Express account and used points on the credit card to vacation with her boyfriend in Florida. Olindo also claims that Cox stole clothing from the apparel company and sold them at local consignment shops for her own personal profit. The lawsuit is still ongoing as of May 2023.

After privately fighting esophageal cancer for 12 excruciating months, my dad lost the only fight he’s ever lost. He died peacefully surrounded by people that loved him more than words can explain.
