Lauren Bohlander updates, wiki/bio, net worth, husband, kids?

The Garage squad believes that there is a heartbeat under every hood, waiting to be revived. And as the engine of a dead car lets off that familiar hum, you find yourself thinking if their belief is true. The cast of the Garage Squad takes on killer cars and trucks and tries their utmost to make sure you hear the familiar hum of the engine once again. The official page for the series claims that the cast brings the cars back from the great beyond. And while the concept of the great beyond for cars is debatable, there is no debating on the work of Garage Squad. In a cast that comprises almost entirely of men, Lauren Bohlander was the first sole exception.

Professional Career

During her early years as a television host, Lauren moved from one station to the other. She gathered experience in different fields of broadcasting and worked for some renowned names in the process. FOX Sports in Florida, Pacers Sports & Entertainment, and NBC Sports are a few of the high-profile names associated with Lauren. Her first big break came in the year 2008-2009 when she was tasked to be the host of NCAA Women’s and Men’s College Basketball for the Big Ten Network. For the next three years (2010-2013), Lauren hosted several racing events including Indianapolis 500, Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, and Chevy Florida Insider Fishing Report.

Garage Squad & Reason for Departure

Lauren’s passion for cars and motorsports led her to co-host the popular reality TV show Garage Squad on Velocity Channel (now MotorTrend Network). The show features a team of mechanics who help car owners restore their classic vehicles.  She joined the show in 2014 and appeared in the first season of nine episodes, showcasing her charisma, humor and passion for cars. However, after the first season, she left the show and was replaced by Heather Storm. The reason for her departure was not disclosed by either Lauren or the producers of the show, leaving many fans wondering what happened to her.

Some speculated that she left the show to focus on her family, as she is married to the famous Brazilian racing driver Tony Kanaan, who won the Indy 500 in 2013. The couple tied the knot in 2015. Lauren often shares pictures of her family on her social media account. She also supports her husband’s racing career and attends many of his events.

Others suggested that she left the show to pursue other opportunities in the media industry, as she has worked in various radio stations and television shows before joining Garage Squad. She has hosted the Verizon Indy Car Series, especially the Indy 500, among other races.

Whatever the reason for her leaving Garage Squad, Lauren Bohlander has not given up on her love for cars or her career as a television host and reporter.
