Following her graduation in 2005, Jessica started working as a TV reporter for the NBC-affiliated television station WETM-TV in Elmira, New York. She left WETM-TV in favor of the CBS-affiliated television station WIVB-TV in Buffalo, New York. In 2010, Jericka moved to KYW-TV in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and stayed there until 2013. In 2013, Jerika began working as a national correspondent for CBS News.
