While the producer agreed to feature Danielle on the series despite her busy schedule, she was never told what her role was. Things important than fame:
While Danielle was cast as a full-time Summer House cast member for the first three seasons, her appearances in the fourth season were limited. The arrangement was made due to her busy schedule and the fact that Danielle puts her career before everything else. Danielle took to Instagram to explain her diminished role in the fourth season of the show. Danielle revealed that while she would love nothing more than to be back at the house, the pressure of filming and working got to her.
“Going into last summer I wanted nothing more than to be back in the house every weekend. But I knew it would be incredibly difficult for me to balance my career and filming. I had a lot of work travel and a work schedule that was inflexible at the time. If you know me, you know my career is what’s most important to me and something I won’t jeopardize.”
Fortunately for her, and the fans, the producers of the show were willing to adjust to Danielle’s busy schedule. The producers decided to cast Danielle during the weekends for a few weeks to see where things go. Danielle was more than happy to accept the offer and was pleased with the producers. As her Instagram post read,
“What I love about my producers is that they know me and at the end of the day they want what’s best for me, as well as, what’s best for the show.”
Of all the cast members in the Summer House, Danielle is the only person with the least amount of relationships. Even though hookups and breakups are nothing new in the Summer House, Danielle revealed that she would rather be breaking hearts than to get her heartbroken.
