Grace Park was born on the 14th of March, 1974, in Los Angeles. Even though Grace was born in the United States of America, her parents moved to Canada when she was just 22 months old. As a young kid, Grace spent most of her early life in Kerrisdale, Vancouver. Born to Korean parents, Park had a strict upbringing. She graduated from Magee Secondary School in 1992 and went on to pursue higher education in psychology at the University of British Columbia.
Following her graduation, Grace began making regular appearances in small roles. Her debut role came in the Canadian teen soap opera Edgemont, where she played the role of high school student Shannon Ng.
