Early Life:

Chuck Seitsinger was born on February 18, 1970, in the city of Oklahoma, United States. Raised in Oklahoma, Chuck was into racing from a young age and would often tinker around in his father’s garage. He spent much of his early life with his brother Dusting and sister Kimberly. Chuck went to the Edmond Memorial High School and graduated in 1988. Chuck was legally driving from his senior year at high school and has never looked back since. In 1990 Chuck enrolled at Honda and learned more about the technical nuances of a car.

Professional Career:

He started his racing career with motorcycles and then switched to drag boats and cars. The first time Chuck tried his luck in racing, things went south and he tried his hand with the import business but things didn’t work out there as well. Frustrated by his failings, Chuck decided to stick to what he knew best, racing. And over the years, Chuck has managed to establish himself in drag racing and continued to improve his skills as a racer.

But before he became a star on Street Outlaws, Chuck had a different racing career. He used to race a 1992 Honda Civic hatchback that he built himself and won several championships with. He started racing the Civic in 2004 in the NOPI Drag Racing Association’s Nitrous Express Pro 4 Cylinder Class. He not only won the 2004 NDRA Rookie of the Year honors, but he was also the 2004 Nitrous Express P/4 XBOX Cup Champion. He repeated his success in 2006 and became the champion again.

Chuck’s Civic, which he nicknamed Hot Rod Civic, ran a best time of 8.21 seconds at 184 mph in the quarter mile. It was featured in several magazines in the mid-2000s and was considered one of the fastest and most dominant cars in its class. Chuck claimed that he was kicked out of the class because his car was too untouchable and no one could compete with him.

Street Outlaws:

In 2013, Chuck joined the cast of Discovery Channel’s reality show Street Outlaws. The show features street racers from different cities and regions in the United States who compete against each other for cash and bragging rights. The show follows a group of street racers as they build, modify, and race their cars on public roads and tracks. The races take place on closed city streets and are organized and monitored by the racers themselves. And Chuck has been driving a 1989 Ford Mustang that he calls Death Trap since the first season of the show and has earned a spot on the top 10 list of Oklahoma City’s fastest street racers. Death Trap is a black Mustang with a twin-turbo Chevy engine that can produce over 2,000 horsepower. Chuck has modified and upgraded the car over the years to make it more competitive and reliable.

However, Chuck also has another car that he debuted in 2021 at the Tucson Dragway’s no prep event in Tucson, Arizona. The car is also a 1989 Ford Mustang, but it has a different name and color. Chuck calls it Second Amendment and it is a black Mustang with a red and white stripe on the side and a large American flag on the hood. It also has a twin-turbo Chevy engine, but it is rumored to have more power and speed than Death Trap.

Controversy:

Chuck’s racing career has not been without controversy. In May 2022, he revealed that he had been arrested and served 60 days in jail for making a threat of violence. The incident occurred in July 2020, when Chuck was in the hospital with COVID-19 and his children were having problems with their mother, who is Chuck’s ex-wife.
