David Comstock was born on April 4, 1973, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, United States. Born to Peter and Marge Comstock, Dave spent much of his early life alongside his siblings in his hometown. His love for cars was evident from a young age. His father owned a 1978 Chevrolet Impala car, which Dave started driving after he was 16 years of age. He later bought a 1996 GMC Sonoma S10 pickup truck and modified it to become a powerful racing machine. He earned the nickname Daddy Dave and the title of King of the Streets for his skills and victories on the track

Professional Life:

Dave grew up around the racing tracks and was into street racing from a relatively young age. By 2009, Dave was racing his 1996 GMC Sonoma S10 pickup truck on the reality television show “Pinks.” During his time at Pinks, Dave met Justin Shearer, aka Big Chief. The pair hit it off and soon became the best of friends. 

In 2013, Dave was invited by the Discovery Channel to work in an all-new series, Street Outlaws. Both Dave and Justin were instantly hooked on the idea and started working with Discover Channel. By the time Dave joined the series he had already earned the title of “King of the Streets.” As is evident in the series, Dave completely dominates his competition and emerges victorious.

A bump along the way:

In 2015, Dave got into an accident while driving the GMC Sonoma. The truck rolled and hit a wall leaving Dave with some serious injuries. While the vehicle was destroyed, Dave remained unfazed. He was funded by the construction mogul Jackie Knox until the accident. 

On his own, Dave began tweaking the nitrous-fueled Goliath 1, a 1963 Chevy Nova. Project Goliath 2.0 was underway which rocked a twin-turbo setup. The twin-turbo setup added more firepower to the car and Dave continued his domination of the streets.
