When Calls The Heart season 6 is wrapped up and the show is set to premiere on Hallmark Channel in February 2019. Before the actual premiere, the show will have a special Christmas episode on Christmas day.

When Calls The Heart Season 5 ending is heart-wrenching, Jack Thornton played by actor Daniel Lissing dies in a landslide while saving the lives of two Mounties. His wife Elizabeth Thornton ( actress Erin Krakow) is widowed and will deal with her pregnancy in his absence. In season 6, the journey of Hope Valley continues. It will have a new Mountie Nathan Grant played by actor Kevin McGarry. Hearties will get to see new development in Elizabeth’s love life too. She will everntually get over Jack and her love life progresses. According to executive producer Brian Bird, she will find love again.  Also, hope valley will introduce a new character, Lucas Bouchard, a charming gambler and saloon owner with secret.

Chris McNally & Kevin McGarry are two major  cast adition on the show. McNally is Lucas Bouchard, a charming gambler and saloon owner. McGarry is Nathan Grant, the new Mountie in town. Jade Lilly Miller is child actor addition, she is Allie. Daniel Lissing is major cast exit, he had been on the show since the first season.
