Sadie who was just 17 at the time and was working to became a model achieved peak fitness during her time on the show. But as the show ended, Sadie couldn’t maintain her body as she did while on the show and was subject to a lot of rude comments from fans.
“People would say things like, ‘Oh, if you lost 10 more pounds, you would look like a real model.’ I was literally 115 pounds and already unhealthy. That just messed my mind up. at least five times a day, I would wrap my hands around my thighs, making sure they hadn’t grown beyond what I could reach. I knew each little calorie that was in every bite of food I took. I talked about food all of the time.”
But Sadie has since recovered from her slump and revealed that faith is the key to her recovery. She talked on length about how reminding herself that she is thankful for her body has made her more confident and accepting of her own body.
