Roman Reigns has stepped down from wrestling amid the health scare. Four-time WWE world champion  is diagnosed with Leukemia. Back in 2008 at the age of 22, he was first diagnosed and received treatment. It was successful as well with leukemia remission. After 11 years, Leukemia has emerged back.

On August 22, during Monday night raw, Rogan opened about the disease which he had kept till now.He revealed taking retirement effective immediately till the point he recovers. He said:

“Because the leukemia is back, I can’t fulfill my role. I can’t be that fighting champion and I’m going to have to relinquish the universal championship. I’m not going to lie.”

Also, he opened that his time away from wrestling is temporary and he will be back.

“By no means is this a retirement speech because after I’m done whupping leukemia’s ass, I’m coming back home. And when I do, it’s not going to be about titles and being on top, it’s about a purpose.”

Also, the man admitted in need of support and prayers.

“I’ll take every prayer you can send my way but I’m not looking for sympathy, I’m not looking for you to feel bad for me because I have faith.”

Roman Reigns real name is Leati Joseph Anoaʻi, he is married to Galina Joelle Becker and father of three, a girl and twin boys.
