Nicole was born on the 20th of February 1979 in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, USA. Coming from humble beginnings, Nicole spent much of her early days in Menomonee Falls. After finishing her early years of school, Nicole joined the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Enrolled in journalism school, Nicole graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism. During her college years, Nicole did various odd jobs including waiting tables, bartending, and others.

Professional Life

Fresh out of college, Nicole began working at a local station in Idaho. She moved to Idaho Falls and started working as a news reporter. After a few years at the station, Nicole moved out to Springfield, Missouri, and worked on a similar post. Nicole’s big break came in September of 2004 when she joined Fox 6. As Fox6 was associated with the Fox network, this opened new doors for Nicole. She began her work in the morning newscast on Fox 6 Wake Up News and was given the part of traffic updates. Things got better and better for Nicole and she was promoted to a weekend anchor for the show. 

Recognized for her incredible work and passion for the job, Nicole was later promoted to the co-anchor of the morning show, Real Milwaukee. Her time at the radio station saw her collaborate with talented journalists including Angelica Duria, Kim Murphy and Rob Haswell. 

After working as an anchor on FOX 6’s WakeUp and Real Milwaukee shows, in March 2020, Nicole announced that she was leaving FOX 6 and TV news altogether. She said that it was a difficult decision, but she wanted to spend more time with her family and start a new professional chapter. She did not reveal what her next career move would be, but she said she was job hunting and asked her fans to stay tuned. She stayed on air until July 2020 and then bid farewell to her colleagues and viewers.

Nicole may have chosen to keep a low profile and avoid the spotlight after leaving FOX 6, but she is still working in the media industry and contributing to the local news scene.
