TV show synopsis
The show follows Mark Bowe and his team as they travel across the country to find and salvage old barns and cabins, and then use the hand-hewn logs to build new homes for their clients.
Unlike many celebrities, he hasn’t faced any controversy and rumors yet.
Mark Bowe was born on the 5th of March 1970 in Glasgow, West Virginia. Mark was raised in Glasgow where he attended a local high school. From a young age, Mark had a strong affinity for nature and loved spending time on his own. He later joined the University of West Virginia University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1992. Done with college, Mark decided to test his skills in the real world and began working as a mine safety technician.
During the time Mike worked as a mine safety technician, he was asked by a friend to help him demolish a barn. This lit a match in Mike’s head and he established the Antique Cabins and Barns. In the years that followed, Mike enjoyed massive success via his company and has been bringing in positive results to date. The success of the company gathered media attention and Mike was contacted by the DIY Network. Mike was asked to star in a TV show which featured the exploits of his company.
In 2013, the DIY network launched a new show entitled, Barnwood Builders. The reality show featured five other builders who journeyed around the states restoring old barns. The series began airing on the 1st of November 2013 and has 16 seasons.

Mark is currently married to Cindy Lavender Bowe. The pair met in 2001 through a mutual friend and have been together ever since. In the years that followed, the pair began traveling extensively in the Greenbrier County. Love blossomed and the pair tied the knot on the 31st of March, 2003. In their years as a married couple, the pair have a baby boy by the name of Atticus.
The family of three currently resides in Greenbrier County. Cindy previously ran for the West Virginia House of delegates but was unsuccessful in her attempt.
