Despite the tags associated with Lauren Parsekian, as an actress, director, and producer, she has not done much when it comes to movies. Her single credit as an actor came in 2011 when she directed the movie, Finding Kind. The movie revolved around how women can be mean to other women and was the perfect movie for Parsekian. Over the years, Parsekian has worked tirelessly to stop girl-on-girl bullying and founded the Kind Campaign in 2009. Even though Parsekian has been working at it for more than a decade, most of her fame stems from her relationship with Aaron Paul. Unlike Parsekian, Paul is a regular actor and is best known for his work as Jesse Pinkman in the AMC series, Breaking Bad (2008–2013). So for this article, we will take the spotlight away from Pinkman and take a closer look at the life of Lauren Parsekian.
Lauren Parsekian was born on the 8th of December 1986, in Orange County, California, U.S. Parsekian comes from a relatively large family and spent most of her early life with her two siblings. Parkesian was exposed to fame early on given her mother, Debra Kelly, who was a former model and an actress. On the other hand, Parsekian’s father Thomas Parsekian worked as a judge and made his way to the supreme court. On the education side of things, Parsekian attended Dana Hills High School before moving on to Pepperdine University.
Following her graduation from University, Parsekain took a behind-the-scenes role on the newsmagazine program Extra. Over the years, Parskian worked on a number of projects before making her directorial debut in the 2011 documentary, Finding Kind. It was during the shooting of Finding kind that Parkesian grew close to her mother and the pair have developed an inseparable bond since.
“When I was shooting the documentary in 2009, my mom and I made that transition from mother-daughter to friends. My co-founder Molly and I shot the film right after college and we brought both of our moms on the road with us. I did a two-month long road trip in a minivan with my mom when I had just turned 22. Ever since then, she’s been more a friend than a mom.”
As for her own credits, Parsekian has worked tirelessly for the Kind Campaign. The campaign was established in 2009 in an attempt to stop and bring awareness to the negative and lasting effects of girl-against-girl bullying. Parsekain also had a one-off appearance on TV in 2012. She was cast on one of the episodes of NCIS: Special Agent DiNozzo Visits Dr. Phil.
Lauren Parsekian has an estimated net worth of $8.5 Million while her husband Aaron Paul has a net worth of $25 Million.
Lauren and Aaron Paul at the Coachella Festival and began dating within days of their first meeting. The pair got engaged on the 1st of January, 2012, in Paris. The pair performed wedding nuptials a year later on May 26, 2013, in a 1920s Parisian carnival-themed wedding in Malibu, California. The pair had their first child, Story Annabelle Paul, in February of 2018. Their second child a baby boy Ryden Caspian Paul was born in 2022.
And while Lauren rarely makes a media appearance of late she has been quite influential in keeping Paul’s life in order.
“Aaron travels so much. And I noticed that he was throwing his toothbrush or deodorant into a suitcase. It would just fly around in there! I was like, ‘You should have a little case for your stuff.’ I’ve been helping him out with the things that guys tend not to think about.”
