It’s not easy being the wife of Ninja, otherwise known as Richard Tyler Blevins. A professional gamer, Belvin is widely recognized around the world and if the words of his wife are anything to go by, he is just getting started. While Ninja spends most of his day streaming, as he should, things are very different for Goch. A streamer herself, Goch takes care of the business side of things for Ninja. After seeing his reply half-heartedly to lucrative offers and sponsorship deals, Goch decided to take up the mantle of business manager at Team Ninja and is on a mission to make ninja the most popular gamer on the planet. So, for this article, we will take a closer look at the wiki-bio of Jessica Goch.
Jessica Goch Blevins was born on the 23rd of June 1992, in Schofield, Wisconsin, USA. Born and raised in Schofield, Goch was raised by her mother, Darcy Goch. Not much is known about her father and Goch has rarely talked about him. As a young kid, Goch spent most of her life with her brother, Joshua, and followed him to Wausau West High School. During her time at high school, Goch was a member of the dance team. After her graduation in 2010, Goch moved to the University of Wisconsin- Whitewater and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Interpersonal Communication and Human Resource Management in 2014.
While still at University, Goch took up a job as a product specialist at STI Fleet Services. She stayed on the job throughout her college and ended up taking another course in her final year. In January 2013, Goch became the brand ambassador for Cyber Solutions Agency. In June 2014, Goch left both of her jobs and started working in Public Relations for Ubisoft. She also started streaming around the same time and stayed on the job for just 6 months. Following her exit from Ubisoft in September 2014, Goch became an Academic Tutor at the University of Wisconsin- Whitewater. She left the job in December of 2014 and started working as a recruiter at Remedy Intelligent Staffing in June 2105. Goch also had a side job going on at the moment as she worked as a Sales Representative at Plantronics via ESL. However, in March 2016, Goch left both her jobs and began working as a Manager at Team Ninja. Talking about her decision to work with her husband, Goch revealed,
“Living with him, I started to see him responding to these potentially really good opportunities super quickly so he can just go live. He wouldn’t be capitalizing things — he’d be sending super quick, almost like text-type stuff in emails. And I was like, ‘You have to be professional with this.’ He was like, ‘I don’t have time. I need to stream.’ So at that moment was when I was like, OK, yes, I stream, but I’m 100% able to start managing him. Those companies deserve to have professional responses and know that somebody’s taking the time to read them and work with them.”
Goch and Ninja met in 2010 at a Halo Tournament in Lacrosse. Jessica’s boyfriend, at the time, had invited her to the Halo Tournament, but the pair broke up before the tournament and Jessica was not sure of the decision. After much support from her ex-boyfriend, Jessica went to the tournament and met Ninja. However, Ninja had a girlfriend at the time, and the pair let things run their course for three years. After three years, the pair reconnected through Twitter as Jessica tweeted at Ninja and the pair quickly exchanged numbers.
The pair performed wedding nuptials at Lehmann Mansion, Lake Villa on the 12th of August 2017. And while things can get out of hand at times, given Ninja’s schedule, Jessica admits it’s fun being with him.
“So it’s not hard for me at all. I giggle. I laugh every day. He’s funny, and I get to hear his streams first-hand at the house. He keeps things so fun, and without the stream and how hard he’s worked, we wouldn’t be blessed with the life we’ve had.”
So far in the marriage, Jessica is yet to give birth to children with her huband.
