Early Life
James Fay popular by his nickname BoBo was born in Manhattan Beach, California, and raised there. He celebrates his birthday on April 15th, but the information about his age has not come out. James was interested in the mythical creature such as loch ness monster from a very young age. The interest was not driven by his parents as it was unique in the family. His father who goes by nickname “Fireball” would give him a hard time pursuing Bigfoot. Despite the fact, James did not quit his interest.
Other than Bigfoot, in his teenage years, James was very much interested in surfing, unknowingly developing a skill set that would help him in the future to access remote areas of the country for investigation of Bigfoot seen places while from the beach. There is also something interesting about his college life. While others may choose their college looking into college’s standards, education or tuition fee, James selected the college near to the areas where supposedly Bigfoot was spotted. Bobo attended Humboldt State University. In his leisure time, he would go out in the woods and start investigating on his own.
Career
After finishing college James worked logging jobs with Native American crews meanwhile. He would grab with two hands if he finds something new about this mysterious creature. To further extend his searching areas, he took jobs of building roads in the wild across states. James also worked in commercial fishing in Northern California.
In 1989, Bobo recorded his first investigation of multiple Bigfoot sightings. Later in 2001, while Bobo was investigating with John Freitas, a veteran researcher of Bigfoot, James claims to have seen his first Sasquatch. This accidental face-off inspired him to do more and fueled his belief to introduce a new speech to the whole world. In a decade-long chasing, he has encountered with Bigfoot several times but hasn’t caught in the cameras clearly.
Finding Bigfoot
James Bobo Fay is the original cast member of the show Finding Bigfoot. He joined the TV show during the first season in 2011. Contrary to the title of the documentary none of the cast members including Ranae Holland, Cliff Barackman, Matt Moneymaker, were able to find Bigfoot. The show ended after 12 seasons on May 27, 2018.
After leaving the show Jame is now on fishing business. Nonetheless, he still manages times to take odd jobs which are mostly related to finding a Bigfoot which is not a surprise. He never misses any news about Bigfoot and collects dozens of local Bigfoot sighting reports every year.
Net Worth
As of 2023, he has an estimated net worth of around $600,000.
Personal Life: If James “BoBo Fay Married? Who is the wife?
Bobo is the kind of person who will light the place with his likable personality. People close to him and those who know him have good things to say. Judging on his personal life, James is a family man who likes to keep relationships close-knit.
BoBo has shared about most of his professional life and perhaps we will have a book if note down about his expedition of Bigfooter being. However, when it comes to personal life, James has been reluctant to give out any information. For now, we can not tell of James is married, if so who is his wife? Similarly, James has never talked about having kids publicly. Maybe the man likes to keep his wife and kids away from the glaring spectacle of media houses.
Health Issue and Weight loss
In 2003 James came close to drowning in Mexico after plunging from 35ft height into the water of 5 ft. He fell as he fell right on the head. As a result of the accident Fay suspected of suffering spinal compression fracture from the incident. Along the way, Fay had to deal with a broken neck problem. It was a minor compression fracture that Fay relates to the accident he suffered back in the past. In 2017, he had a car accident that tweaked again in the head.
In the past, also, there were rumors of BoBo suffering from cancer after he saved his head. Many fan thoughts he did it for chemo treatment. In truth, he had hard time having long hair.
Also, he significantly lost the weight which had nothing to do with illness. He changed eating habits to live a healthy lifestyle. He cut out soda, candy, pizza, and baked goods.
Don’t you think you would find more if you didn’t make so much noise I mean most of the good evidence has been found by hunters if you know anything about hunting you know you have to be quite to get any kind of good results maybe that’s is why you always have truble getting your own evadence
You’re a joke, you and Moneyfaker!!..I would bet all my retirement income you’ve never encountered a Bigfoot!! You just don’t come off as believable!!
Bobo, I am a Bigfoot fan. Still watch your Re Runs. Watching now. One of our church members know yous said you used to go to their home in the California woods to visit and make calls. You probably remember Rebecca, she is one of our church members, My former supervisor in a mill in Gold Beach told me of a camping trip where the noise at night caused them to pack up and leave the site during a hunting trip. Good Luck, hope you find one again.
Bobo, I always wondered why you didn’t have daytime searches. You would think the camera crew lights would be a dead giveaway to any Bigfoots that humans were nearby and they, being shy of humans, would hide or run away. Plus, most of your townhall witnesses had accidental sightings during the day by just walking in the woods. I think you would have had better luck doing daytime searches. I believe in them even though I have never seen one. There is a road not too far from where I live in IL. They call it Dupont Rd. and the people who live out there have seen a bigfoot so often, they call him the Dupont Monster! It’s a very wooded area where there are lots of deer and the IL river is nearby. If you ever are in IL, you should check that area out. I am glad you recovered from your accidents; you were always my favorite on the show! And you look good with the weight loss! A diehard fan . . .
I have never seen a bigfoot, and I bet you havent either, so until we do dont pass judgement. O would like to but if they do exixst I hope that they are never caught.
Kerry Roberts, you’re a joke!
