Who was Deadliest Catch Samara Manger-Weil? Her death, wiki, bio, tribute.
The latest seasons (2019-2020) of Deadliest Catch could do with a lot fewer sad moments. From the disappearance of Scandies Rose with its captain and crew to the untimely death of one of their production managers, the series has been nothing but an emotional roller coaster. The latest tragedy to strike the cast and the crew is the untimely death of TV producer and writer, Samara Leilani Manger. One of the newest additions to the production team, Samra was among the younger crew members and had a promising career ahead of her. However, she passed away on the 23rd of May, 2020. In this article, we will take a closer look at the life of Samra Leilani Manger.
Samara Magner was born on the 15th of December 1991 in Los Angeles. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Samara had always been interested in acting. During her high school years, Samara attended the Professional Performing Arts School, which was also where she met Max Ehrich, from The Young and the Restless. After graduating from high school in 2009, Samara went off to Ithaca College and graduated in 2013, with a BSc degree in Cinema and Photography.
Samara wasted no time in following her dreams and began pursuing her career right after college. Following her graduation, Samra began working as a production and office assistant and held the position from 2013 to 2015. Things were definitely on the rise for Samara, who, in 2016, was offered the role of Production Coordinator for Evolution Film and Tape. She assumed office in May 2016 but left the company in September of 2017. She later returned to her job as a production manager to help on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Orange County.
Samara began working with Deadliest Catch in September 2018. She was the production manager for Season 15 and continued her work until January 2019. Talented at what she does, Samara not only worked on the TV series but also produced three deadliest catch episodes, Deadliest Catch: Tortured to Greatness, Strategy & Deception, and Unfinished Business. She continued her work with the Deadliest catch for the 16th season but could not get to finish it.
