Relationship With Kim Kardashian

Kim and Damon met during Kim’s teenage years and tied the knot in 2000. Kim was just 19 years old at the time and eloped with Damon. The marriage lasted for a mere four years and the pair got divorced in 2004. The details of their relationship are shrouded in controversy and conflicting claims.  Kim has said that she was high on ecstasy when they got married.

By the first year of their marriage, Kim already regretted her decision as she claimed that Damon was controlling, abusive, and physically assaulted her. In one of the episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim revealed that Damon was very much the king of the hill and did not allow Kim to go shopping on her own.

“Damon decided what we would do and when we would do it. He was very much the ‘king of the castle. He said he did not want me to have contact with my old boyfriends who would be able to reach me at the clothing store,”

Kim also revealed that Damon was the one who got her into plastic surgeries and even paid for them. He always wanted to keep tabs on her and Kim had to ask permission to even leave the house.

“Damon told me not to leave the house unless I first told him when and where I was going. If Damon were not home, I was required to call him and ask permission to leave the house. For example, he would not allow me to go to the mall alone, or with friends. He told me that he did not want men to have an opportunity to ‘hit’ on me.”

On the other end, Damon Thomas has rarely spoken about his ex-wife in public and has said that he is proud of her and her family. He has also maintained a cordial relationship with Kris Jenner, Kim’s mother. However, he has also expressed his frustration with Kim’s portrayal of their marriage as a drug-fueled mistake and said that it was unfair and irresponsible to make such statements given that they have children who go to the same school.

Movin on-After Divorce

After their divorce, Damon moved on with his life and career. He started dating Sarai Tennille Torres, a fashion coordinator, and they had a son together named Dimas. However, their relationship did not last either. Sarai sued Damon for failing to pay child support for their son, alleging that he earned more than $2.54 million in two years as a music producer. In 2011, a court ordered Damon to pay $9,525 a month in child support, but he allegedly stopped paying after a few months. According to court records, he now owes $1.47 million in back child support over the past 11 years. Damon has also faced financial troubles of his own. He filed for bankruptcy in 2012, with liabilities over $3.5 million.

Despite his difficulties, Damon has not given up on his music career. He still posts on his Instagram account about his work and his achievements. He also shows off his teenage son Damon Jr., from another marriage. However, he has never publicly acknowledged his son Dimas, who is now 17 years old. Sarai told The Sun that Damon has only seen Dimas once when he was a few weeks old. She said that she hopes and prays that one day Damon will be friends with him.

Damon Thomas has had a turbulent life after Kim Kardashian. He has achieved success and fame as a music producer, but he has also faced lawsuits, debts and estrangement from his son. He has tried to move on from his past, but it seems that he still has some unresolved issues to deal with.
