Cliff Barackman was born on November 28, 1970. Born and raised in Long Beach California, Cliff was interested in both physical and biological sciences from a young age. He also loved music and later enrolled at California State University. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and favored Jazz. For several years, Cliff studied the art of Jazz under the tutelage of Dave Schroeder and Ron Eschete. During his time in college, Cliff’s interest in biology changed from passion to obsession. He devoured every book written on the subject and concluded that not only are bigfoots real, but they are not extinct like many believe them to be.
Aided by his Love for Camping
Cliff had always enjoyed the outdoors. Equipped with his new-found interest in Bigfoots, Cliff started camping outside. It reached a point where the man spends 200 days a year camping. His first expedition came in 1994 when he journeyed to Bluff Creek, California. For the next few years, Cliff frequented the West Coast and was disappointed with his lifestyle in California. He subsequently moved to Portland and is living there to this date.

Cliff works as a Sasquatch field researcher. His level-headed approach and analytical mind often make the difference while analyzing important pieces of evidence. Over the years, Cliff has gathered several shreds of evidence that point to the fact that sasquatches are an undiscovered species of great ape that walks bipedally and lives in North America. But for all his data and analysis, proving the existence of bigfoot remains Cliff’s number one priority.

Even though Cliff is known for his appearances in Finding Bigfoot, he has always been a well-known figure. He made his first TV appearance in 2007 when he worked on the TV series, Monsterquest. This was also where he met his long-time friend and partner, James âBoboâ Fay. Cliff joined the cast of Finding Bigfoot in the very first season in 2011.
