Alex Lagina has always loved mysteries. Akins to his father, Alex is an engineer who has watched the way his father operated for the last decade. Early Life:

Alex Lagina was born in 1986 to Marty and his wife M. Olivia Lagina. Born and raised in Traverse, Michigan, Alex spent much of his early life with his sister Madelin. After graduating from a local high-school, Alex enrolled at the University of Michigan’s College of Engineering and followed on his parent’s footsteps with an engineering degree. Alex graduated from the University of Michigan in Mechanical engineering in 2008.

Always Learning:

Right after graduation, Alex moved back to his hometown to help his father. Over the years, Alex has constantly watched his father and uncle. As two of the experts on the field, Alex is constantly fine-tuning himself with each new experience. As fo 2020, Alex has been working on Oak Island for 12 years. A regular cast member of the series The Curse of the Oak Island, Alex featured on the show at a much later date. But alongside his rare stints as an actor, Alex also works as a producer.

Other Works:

Apart from his work on Oak Island, Alex also works with the Oak Island Tours Company. The company manages tours on the Island regularly, Alex can often be seen explaining stuff to tourists at the family museum. Alex also works as the General Manager of Villa Mari Vineyard located in Traverse, Michigan. Talking about his father’s passion for wine, Alex mentioned,

‘…. always have a barrel of wine in the basement. Dad likes to say wine is in his blood.’
