Early Life:
Richard Rawlings was born on the 30th of March 1969 in Fort Worth, Texas. Richard developed an interest in automobiles as he accompanied his father, Ray Rawlings to auto shops and started helping out in the construction process as well. The man bought his first car at the age of 14 and in the following years successfully graduated from Eastern Hills High School.

Professional Career:
Fresh out of high school, Richard decided to work in favor of a University degree. In the days that followed he worked as a law enforcement officer, firefighter, and paramedic. In 1999, Richard established a printing and advertising company by the name of Lincoln Press. The company lasted for around five-years before Richard sold it to fund the workings of Gas Monkey Garage in Dallas. The garage was established in 2002 and Richard sold Lincoln press to fund its expansion. The garage made cars for customers around the world. In 2012, the setting was picked up by the discovery channel as the concept for the series, Fast N’ Loud.
Alongside the garage, Richard also established the Gas Monkey Bar N’ Grill in Northwest Dallas. The bar which was first established in September of 2013, opened in a second location at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport in March 2014. In October of 2014, Richard also established Gas Monkey Live which was dedicated solely to music. The newest expansion for the Gas Monkey franchise is a series of energy drinks which Richard licensed in 2019. The only black spot in Richard’s portfolio as an entrepreneur is a failed restaurant by the name of Richard Rawlings’ Garage. The restaurant which was established in Harker Heights, Texas, in 2016 was permanently closed in 2019.

Even though Richard looks like a guy with all the answers, he just can’t get it right when it comes to relationships. The man has been married three times and each marriage ended in a divorce. In 1993, a young Richard got married to Karen K. Grames. The marriage lasted a year before the pair decided to go their separate ways. Five years later, Richard got married to Suzanne Marie Mergele in 1999 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The couple enjoyed a long marriage which lasted till 2009. Even though the pair were divorced, they maintained close contact and got married for the second time in 2015 in Cabo, Mexico. Things came to an end again, as, on March 11, 2019, Richard announced that the pair were separating for a second time.
Moving on from divorce:
Richard did not take long to move on after the divorce from ex-wife, Suzanne Mergele. He popped the question to his girlfriend Katerina Panos Deason and shared an engagement ring with her in 2019. Richard and Katerina shared wedding vows in 2020 officially making them husband and wife. The pair do not have any children yet.
