At a glance, the lives of celebrity partners are something to be envied. Especially, if your partner is a well-known celebrity. Alongside the A-list actors in Hollywood, professional sports players bring in a huge sum of money. But unlike what many people tend to believe, the lives of celebrity partners is not easy. For all the glamour, expensive cars, and designer clothes, celebrity partners have to put in work to protect what they have. After all, they are at the frontline fighting for stability in the unstable career of a celebrity. The reality TV series “Basketball Wives” builds on the same scenario. Centered around the wife, ex-wife or girlfriend of an NBA superstar, the series stars some well-known faces, one of whom is Jennifer Williams.
Jennifer Williams was born on the 17th of September 1974 in South Orange, NJ. Born and raised in South Orange, Jennifer spent much of her early life in the upscale suburb just outside of New York City. After graduating from her local high school, Jennifer enrolled at the University of Maryland. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and went on to her professional life. Little is known about Jennifer’s parents, save the fact that she lost her mother to cancer in 2015.
In 2005, Jennifer started working as a real estate broker, operating around the South Orange area. She later worked as an attorney at a law firm, and also supported Hillary Clinton in 2016. Jennifer is also an entrepreneur and is the owner of the women’s fitness studio, Flirty Girl Fitness. She later launched a new line of cosmetics entitled, Lucid Cosmetics. A high-end real estate agent, Jennifer has found success in her professional life.
Life one Basketball Wives:
Even though Jennifer has found immense success in her professional career, her personal life is filled with its fair share of troubles. She met Eric Williams in 2000 and married the man in 2007. The pair ended up getting a divorce in 2010.
Around 2010, Shaunie O’Neal decided to launch a new show, Basketball Wives. Jennifer was one of the first cast members of the series but was later ejected from the series after its fourth season. This was a direct response to her cruel and violent behavior on- air. The second season of the series centered around the troubling relationship between Jennifer and Eric. Even though the pair tried their level best to save their relationship, things didn’t work out for the pair. After her exit from Basketball Wives, Jennifer worked alongside Karamo Brown in a brand-new series, The Next: 15.
Since the divorce, Jennifer has not found much success in her personal life. After her divorce, she was associated with Tim Norman. The relationship ended in sour terms, as Jennifer filed a restraining order against Tim who allegedly stalked her.
Things escalated further when Jennifer reported that a guy she had been dating stole her car. The alleged con-man is Aaron Nichols who reportedly took off with her Range Rover. She reported that,
‘He has conned many women and men too out of vehicles and large amounts of cash. Lives in the Atlanta area and frequents Detroit, Houston, and Vegas.’
The incident was reported on the 27th of April 2020, and the police are still investigating the case.
