Even though the Biden’s seem to be a cool bunch in the eye of the public, they share complicated family history. In 2015, Joe Biden lost his eldest son, Beau Biden, to brain cancer. Beau was married to Hallie at the time of death. The Biden’s were struck by grief, and Hallie sought solace in the arms of Hunter Biden, who is also the brother of Beau Biden. As news broke out that Hallie was dating hunter, there were some mixed reactions. While some claimed that it was immoral to do so, others thought it to be perfectly fine. Regardless, Hallie and Hunter parted ways in 2019, just days before Joe announced his 2020 Presidential Campaign. In this article, we will take a closer look at what little is known about the wife of Hallie Biden.
Hallie Biden was born on the 30th of November 1974, in Wilmington, Delaware. Born to Ron Olivere and Joan Olivere, Hallie has shared little about her early life. She attended the Tatnall School in Delaware and decided against going to college.
Before her marriage to Beau Biden, Hallie was never in the eye of media. Following her graduation, Hallie started working as a counselor at the Archmere Academy. After a few years, Hallie went back to the high school she graduated from and started working as an admissions counselor.
Hallie and Beau Biden met way back in the late 1990’s. The pair married in 2002 following their engagement in 2001. Beau was a well known American politician, attorney, and officer in the Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps from Wilmington, Delaware. The pair shared a loving relationship and gave birth to their first child, Natalie, on the 4th of August 2004. Two years later, on the 10th of March 2006, the couple gave birth to their son, Robert Hunter Biden II.
Hallie and Beau shared a loving relationship. In the 13 years they stayed together, there were no rumors of a rift between the pair. But unfortunately for Hallie, she lost her husband on the 30th of May 2015. Beau, who was diagnosed with brain cancer, was admitted to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, because of a recurrence of brain cancer. He lost his life 10 days after being admitted to the hospital.
Following the death of her husband, Hallie sought solace in the arms of Hunter Biden. It is believed that the pair started dating right after Hunter’s crack binge. The relationship became the source of scrutiny to which Hunter commented,
“All we got was s–t from everybody, all the time. It was really hard. And I realized that I’m not helping anybody by sticking around.”
Hunter made the statement after the pair bought a house in Arizona in 2017. While there were mixed reviews from people around the pair, the Biden’s were supportive of their relationship. Following the announcement, Joe expressed his blessings for the pair.
“We are all lucky that Hunter and Hallie found each other as they were putting their lives together again after such sadness. They have mine and Jill’s full and complete support and we are happy for them.”
But the pair announced their split after two years in April of 2019. A source closed to the pair said that they had reached an amicable settlement. Following the divorce, Hallie has been rarely seen in the media.
