When the TV series, The Witcher, was first announced to fans, a fair share of them were nervous. After all, the series was on the back of an amazing Witcher III, Video Game. However, when the series aired its first episode in 2019, all the doubts were put to rest. Everything, right from the setting to the cast and the action, was far and beyond what fans expected out of the series. While the life of Ciri is on-screen for all to see, Freya’s not so much. In this article, we will take a closer look at the wiki-bio of Freya Allan.

Net Worth-How Rich is Freya Allan?
Allan is a rising star in the television industry, and her role as Ciri on The Witcher has opened many doors for her. She has proven herself to be a versatile and charismatic actress who can handle different genres and challenges. She has also gained a loyal fan base who admire her talent and personality. Freya Allan has a net worth estimated to be around $3 million as of August 2023.
Freya Allan was born on the 6th of September 2001. The details of her parents and siblings are not publicly known. Born and raised in Oxfordshire, England, Freya attended Headington School in Oxford. After graduating high school, Freya continued her higher education at the National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire. During her time at film school, Frey made an appearance in two short films, Bluebird and The Christmas Tree. The appearances helped Freya clear the requirements of film school, and she went on to study at the Arts University Bournemouth. During her time at Arts University, Freya played the role of Linda in the short film Captain Fierce.
Debut & Brekthrough
After graduating from Art School in 2017, Freya landed a role as Young Minerva in the 2018 TV series, Into the Badlands which also marks her debut in television. She then starred in the 2019 TV series, The War of the Worlds. However, her big break came in the role of Ciri in The Witcher series which was released on Netflix in 2019. Ciri is a key character in the fantasy saga, as she is the heir to the throne of Cintra and the child of destiny, who possesses mysterious and powerful abilities.
Getting the Role of Ciri
Even though we cannot imagine anyone other than Freya playing the role of Ciri, she revealed that she first auditioned for the role of Marilka on “The Witcher.” However, the producers ended up liking her so much that they wanted Freya to star as Ciri.
“For me, I actually got another role, before I got the role of Ciri. I got the role of Marilka, and then, suddenly, I got a phone call saying that Lauren [Schmidt Hissrich], the showrunner and Alik [Sakharov], the director, were coming to London and they wanted to see me for Ciri. So, I did that audition, and then found that I got that role. So, it was this bizarre situation, where I got two roles in it.”
And while Freya had not read the books before playing a part in the TV series, she sees certain similarities between herself and Ciri. In an interview, Freya revealed that like Ciri, Freya unapologetically speaks her mind.
“Like Ciri, I never hesitated to say what I thought. Ciri’s ability to speak is one of the features that make her strong. She’s also a stubborn character. We are very similar in this respect.”
While Freya’s portrayal of Ciri was the highlight of the series, Freya did admit that she struggled with the emotional scenes at first.
“I think I struggled the most during the beginning of filming. We rehearsed very little and immediately started shooting. One of the first scenes we filmed has a very important part in Ciri’s story. It was a little scary but still very exciting. The scenes that needed Ciri to cry were especially difficult.”
Allan’s performance as Ciri has been praised by critics and fans alike, as she captures the innocence, courage, and resilience of the character.
Reprising her Role & Other Credits
Since her breakthrough, Allan has embraced her role as Ciri and has grown as an actress. Allan’s appearance as Ciri also changed significantly from season one to season two. This was partly due to the natural growth and maturation of the actress, who was 17 years old when she started filming season one and 20 years old when she finished filming season two. The production of season two was also delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic, which extended the gap between the seasons. Additionally, Allan’s appearance as Ciri was influenced by the character’s development in the story. In season one, Ciri was a sheltered princess who had to flee from her kingdom after it was invaded by Nilfgaard. She spent most of the season on the run, looking for Geralt, who was bound to her by destiny. In season two, Ciri finally met Geralt and began training with him at Kaer Morhen, the home of the witchers. She also learned more about her powers and her heritage. As a result, Ciri’s appearance in season two reflected her growth as a fighter and a witcher-in-training. She wore more practical and rugged clothes, had shorter and darker hair, and had more defined eyebrows. Allan reprised her role as Ciri in season three of The Witcher, which was released in 2023, and will return for the upcoming season 4.
Allan has also appeared in other television roles since her breakthrough as Ciri. She starred as Kail in The Third Day, a psychological thriller miniseries on HBO. She also played young Sam in Gunpowder Milkshake, an action film on Netflix. She is also set to star in the upcoming film Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, which will be released in 2024. The film is a sequel to the previous Planet of the Apes trilogy and will feature Allan as a human character alongside Owen Teague as the lead ape. Additionally, Allan has been cast in the lead role of the horror film Baghead, which is currently in post-production. The film is about a mysterious figure who can manipulate people’s faces and identities.
Personal Life: Love Affairs & Relationship
As of 2023, it seems like Freya Allan is not dating anyone and does not have a boyfriend. There have been no reports or rumors of the actress having a partner at the moment. She has also kept a low profile around her romantic life and rarely shares anything on social media platforms. For instance, she is not very active on Instagram, where she has over 1.5 million followers, and does not post many pictures of herself or her friends. Among all her posts, there is no sign of a potential boyfriend or a romantic interest.
It looks like Allan, who is 22 years old as of this writing, is yet to find someone with whom she can share her life. She might be focusing on her career and personal growth rather than being in a relationship. She might also be waiting for the right person to come along. Whatever the case may be, she seems to be happy and content with her single status.
Much like her current relationship status, there is little to no information available on Freya Allan’s past relationships. There are no details on whether she was dating someone in the past or not. She has never confirmed or denied being in a relationship with anyone publicly. She has also never been spotted with anyone who could be considered as her boyfriend.
