I love this show the incredible Dr. Pol but sometimes I am embarrassed at the condescending way that Dr. Pol treats Charles . Even though most of the time the verbal digs seem to be said jokingly , I still find myself getting embarrassed and a little sad for Charles because the comments are hurtful . I love the show bud hopefully Dr. Pol will start treating Charles as a grown man instead of as a little boy

Dear Dr. K, I really love watching your show but have a concern that everyone seems to always be kissing various animals that come into your clinic. Is this a healthy practice? I’m concerned that these animals might carry diseases that can be transmitted to humans.

I JUST HAVE SEEN YOUR SHOW WHERE U START A NEW AQUARIUM & U KEEP ON GETTING SHRIMP THAT U KNOW WILL BE EATEN BY AN AGGRESSIVE FISH!! HOW CAN U BE SO (STUPID & CRUEL), I THOUGHT U LOVE ANIMAL!! I KEPT SALT WATER FISH FOR DECADES & I’VE LEARNED TO KEEP PEACEFUL FISH WITH PEACEFUL INVERTEBRATES & TAKE OUT AGGRESSIVE FISH & INVERTEBRATES, CLEANER SHRIMP ARE VERY PEACEFUL ANIMALS ! YOUR BEHAVIOR IN THIS IS DISGUSTING & STUPID, THAT FISH WILL KEEP EATING SHRIMP!! I WILL NEVER WATCH YOUR SHOW AGAIN!!! U ARE A CRUEL HYPOCRITE BITCH!!
Brad Keyser, Dr. K is not a cruel hypocrite. She was trying to clean out her tank in a friendly, not aggressive way. It is not her fault that one of her fish is mean. She is not a cruel hypocrite.
On a different note, I love this show!! Dr. K’s show is my favorite vet show!! She is great and I love her show!! Thank you for what you do Dr. K!!
I would really like to speak to Dr. K regarding our pet canure “Polly Esther” who is driving us crazy over what to do to help him! He is ripping his flesh, pulling feathers, and I had to rush him to the clinic one night as he ripped out a pin feather and was bleeding. The vet prescribed a 14 day antibiotic regime, and 7 day anti inflammatory pain reliever course. Finished all and now has resumed ripping flesh and feather. He is a fussy eater although is given vit. and fruit juice, etc. he won’t touch alot except his dog gone sun flower seeds. HELP! please! He does eat people food. He is otherwise very well cared for and loved and he knows it and gets a mountain of attention. What is wrong with him?!
