There is not much to talk about Robin Poage. The wife of the well-known comedian, Dough Walker, Robin is a mystery for many of her fans. While her husband, Dough Walker, is known for his works in the Nostalgia Critic series on youtube, not much is known about Robin and things don’t look like changing anytime soon. A popular figure amongst the YouTube fanfare, Dough’s unique reviewing style, which is a mixture of angry rants and humor has attracted fans from around the world. Some of the movies he has reviewed, Exorcist II: The Heretic, The Garbage Pail Kids Movie, and Batman & Robin, are often regarded as some of the worst movies of all time. However, in this article, we will try to shed the light on the wiki-bio of Robin Poage.
A life of mystery:
Robin Poage was born on the 6th of November 1983 in Lombard, Illinois. Born to an actress mother and driver father, Poage spent most of her early life with her sister who went on to become a nurse in the local hospital at Lombard. As a young kid, Robin dreamed of becoming a model but could never pursue her dreams. Following her high school graduation, Robin enrolled at Greenville College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology in 2006. She continued her higher education and enrolled at Aurora University from where she graduated with a Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2009.
Robin’s first known credit in the entertainment industry came in 2010 when she voiced the ‘G.P.S Guy’ in a short skit entitled ‘Ask the Guy with Glasses.’ Over the years, Robin has voiced the part of ‘G.P.S Guy’ in over eight Nostalgia Critic episodes.
On the professional side of things, Robin began working as the Junior High Director of the River Glen Presbyterian Church. She stayed with the church for nearly three years and went on to join the Krejci Academy at Little Friends, where she served as their one-to-one classroom aide.
In May of 2010, Robin took up a position as the quest program intern at the Warrenville Youth and Family Services. After nearly a year, Robin switched jobs and began working at The Branch Family Institute as a therapist and family support worker intern. She doubled down on her job and also worked as a sales associate at Bath and Body Works at the same time.
In July of 2012, Robin joined Talbots I as a sales associate but made the switch to Memory Training Centers of America in 2013 as their clinician. After a two year stay, Robin began working as an Outreach Support Specialist at Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet. She is currently working as the adoption support and preservation therapist at Metropolitan family services, a job she has had since December of 2016.
Robin Poage is happily married to Dough Walker and the pair have been together for nearly a decade. Robin first met Dough at a charity event in 2009. While no one made the move that night, Dough asked Robin out on a date when they met one month later. The pair dated for around three years before deciding to take the big step in on the 15th of June 2012. The pair do not have any children and have been clear on their stance on having one. Both Robin and Dough have been on record to say that they are more focused on their careers at the moment.
