Cynthia Silva was born on the 29th of October 1956, in California, United States. Born in a Portuguese household, Silva has not shared much about her early life. The former actress graduated from a local high school in California before setting off to California State University at Fullerton (CSUF). She studied marketing and finance during her University years and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in the same field.

Professional Career and Marriage:

Silva launched her professional career as an actress while still in college. Following several theatrical appearances, Silva made her on-screen debut in 1998 appearing in the movie, LiteWeight.

Silva met Kevin Costner during her University years and the pair began dating soon after. The pair dated for three lovely years before deciding to tie the knot on the 11th of February 1978. The youngest child of the family, Costner’s mother Sharon Rae (Tedrick) worked as a welfare worker, whereas his father, William Costner, was an electrician and, later, a utility executive at Southern California Edison. As a young kid, Costner was interested in just about anything he could get his hands on.
