Meeting Jose, Marriage, and Divorce:

Jose and Jessica first met at Hooters in Cleveland, when she was training to become a waitress. The pair tied the knot on the 27th of August, 1996 but remained together for only three years. The pair’s only daughter, Josie Canseco was born on the 5th of November, 1996, the same year they got married. While the pair enjoyed a year of togetherness, Jose started to get violent and began physically assaulting Jessica. He was arrested in November of 1997 for domestic abuse after he hit Jessica while returning from their daughter’s birthday party in 1997. Two years after his initial arrest, Jessica and Jose divorced with custody belonging to Jessica. In 2005, Jessica released her autobiography entitled Juicy: Confessions of a Former Baseball Wife, the same year her ex-husband Jose Canseco released his memoir, Juiced. Parts from Jessica’s book were used in a September 2005 cover story for Playboy.

Life after:

Following the release of her memoir, Jessica began dating television personality and plastic surgeon, Garth Fisher. The pair tied the knot on the 23rd of June, 2007, in Fisher’s mansion in Bel Air. The pair stayed together for 5 years before calling things off in 2011.

Following her split from Fisher, Jessica starred in the VH1 series Hollywood Exes. She stayed with the series for a total of three seasons from 2012 to 2014, after which the series ended.

In 2016, Jessica was seen on The Mother/Daughter Experiment: Celebrity Edition, with her daughter Josie Canseco. The series focused on improving the duo’s mother-daughter relationship.

Accusations:

In 2019, Jose Canseco accused A-Rod of cheating on Jennifer Lopez with his ex-wife, Jessica Caseco. The former MLB player challenged A-Rod to an MMA or a Boxing match and dared him to take a polygraph. He also revealed that he was there when A. Rod called Jessica on her phone. After the accusations, Jessica came out on Twitter to deny the claims.

“Those false accusations Jose is making are not true. I have known Alex for many years and haven’t even seen him for over 5. I certainly did not sleep with him. I am friendly with both him and Jennifer. As for Jose he can keep playing with his Alien friends.”

And while Jose fired back at his ex-wife and the duo engaged in a Twitter battle, the rumor eventually lost steam and Jessica has since maintained her distance from the media.
